The House of Angels and Pins
The Urban Shanty Builder is continually required to respond to the changing demands of the urban context.
The House of Angels and Pins, is a place for the meeting of different realities, a perpetual threshold between the physical and the meta-physical.

This liminal space provides the urban dweller with the opportunity to gaze across the Modern City in the presence of angels and ghosts which make up the vast majority of the City’s inhabitants.
The Meetings are unintelligible but this is not the point, the purpose of this space is to provide a witnessing, a place to count the number of angels dancing on the head of one of the three conical pins that puncture the building, with the simple framing devices of a proscenium arch stage which puts the morass of the City in some perspective.
